Adult Tennis
Tennis is a lot of fun and we love to include everyone who wants to have a go – you’ll love the social aspect and it’s great for fitness too. If you’re new to tennis or would like to improve your skills with similar-level players, then you’ll find a warm welcome at Beckenham Lawn Tennis Club, which runs a number of social and competitive sessions each year. Social Tennis
We have plenty to offer players of all standards. Whatever your level, come along and play tennis. We have social tennis sessions on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons throughout the year, as well as plenty of opportunities to organise your own friendly hits.
Team Tennis
Beckenham Lawn Tennis Club plays team tennis in the Kent and North Kent Tennis Leagues (summer and winter). We have 12 teams currently in the top divisions of both. With training sessions and membership discounts for regular top team players.
Tournaments
We organise a whole array of tournaments for beginners, intermediate and advanced players. As well as a very popular intra-club singles box leagues. We run regular heck out our calendar to find out more.
Singles Box Leagues
All members aged 14+ are welcome to join the Beckenham LTC box leagues!
We run three competitions: Mixed League, Ladies’ League and Men’s Vets League.
Players are organised into groups of 8-10 competitors based on playing level and play one match against each opponent
The top two players at the end of the league are promoted to the group above and the bottom two are relegated to the group below
The scoring system is 4 points for a win and 2 points for a loss while winning a set
The box leagues run three rounds per year – January to March, May to July and September to November.

Club Player Of The Year
Any player who regularly competes for Beckenham LTC teams is eligible for entry into the Club Player of the Year award. This is to recognise:
Players who have represented the club in inter-club matches, demonstrating our core team values of friendliness, warmth and love of tennis.
Efforts across our annual intra-club tournaments and events.
Box Leagues
The Top 3 players at the end of each year will receive their trophies at the Christmas party in December.

British Tennis Membership gives free membership of the Lawn Tennis Association and allows you to get information about tennis, entry into the Wimbledon Tickets Ballot and receive newsletters.
